Samson established the T&S Foundation in 2020, and chose a name that honors his father and mother, Tobias and Stella Ebukam, who have continually been a source of inspiration to him. The mission of the T&S Foundation is to fulfill basic humanitarian needs for the people of Nigeria. Samson experienced firsthand the difficulties and injustices that the people of Nigeria encounter on a daily basis in his childhood.
Blessed to play professional football, Samson strives to use his platform in a positive way and make a difference in the world. Throughout the foundation’s inaugural year, we will be raising funds that will go towards providing basic community needs in Samson’s hometown of Onitsha.
Samson is traveling back to Onitsha this offseason with his family members to reconnect with his community and face the humanitarian crisis directly. Nigeria’s humanitarian needs range from displacement, food insecurity, climate-related issues, disease outbreaks, violence against women and other basic needs. Without funding and the desire to make an impact on this community, their needs will continue to go over looked.
